In Cordoba, Spain is the mezquita, a mosque built upon a church that was then turned into a church.

The biblical scenes painted over the muslim architecture work together amazingly well together, especially considering each were created centuries apart and with styles from different faiths. That they are both trying to impart the same thing might be what overcomes the differences.
